Computer
Clubhouse
The Computer Clubhouse Network provides a creative and safe after-school
learning environment where youth people ages 10- to 18 explore their
own ideas, develop skills and build confidence through the use of
technology. The Clubhouse members use state-of-the-art professional
level software in a setting where students collaborate to create
and plan projects of interest.
Daytime Art
& Technology
T he Gold Crown Foundation works closely with Jefferson County R-1
Schools (Colorado's largest school district) to provide art and technology
classes to neighborhood middle school students. The classes are taken
for elective credit, and coincide with the district's 12-week trimester
system. Currently, about 30 students from Creighton Middle School
are bussed to the Gold Crown Fieldhouse where they spend half of their
time in the technology lab, then switch to the art classrooom space
next door.
Summer Camps
To coincide with the summer Hanzlik Basketball Camps,
Gold Crown offers art and technology classes rounding out a whole
day of fun and enrichment. Programs are offered in one week sessions
for 2 weeks during the summer.
