The way i put made my animation is by tracing my pic twelve times. Then I drew something differnet in each frame. The first frame and last frame are the same, and the sixth frame is opposite of both of those frames. Then frames 1-6 start going up. Then frames 7-12 are going down. After drawing them, Iscanned them and painted them in photoshop. After doing all of that, you get your animation.

I'm not sure why I drew my animation of a angel surrounded in flames.
