My Green Firehouse

My green Firehouse is an environmentally helpful home and is great for people. It is south-facing with lots of windows so the heat can be let in. It is located in the community to help the firemen get to fires faster. The station is designed very small to help the environment by using less space. This helps by using less heat to keep the house warm, and allows for quick exits for the firemen. I will use bamboo floors because they look just as nice as oak but regenerate faster. I'll use low voc paint for the walls and denim jeans as the insulators. The water in my house will be from collected rain and recycled grey water. My house is peaked slightly to let the rain filter into the rain collector. The energy source is solar panels. This is my green fire station.
