The enviorment has been
suffering from mankind for years. I plan to help out at least a little bit.
I am designing a house that looks good, doesn’t cost much, and powers
itself. It will release no C02 Emissions. My house is located on the lake
because of the many resources the lake can provide. I have a filter on the
bottom of my house to use the lake water that I need. I also have a water
wheel/ hydro electric system. In addition, there is a rain collection system
to catch and filter the rain. The lake location also provides a good view
of the community. Since my house is propped up on four pillars, I can get
plenty of solar power and natural heating. The pillars provide lots of surface
area to have a lot of solar panels. I also have 4 rooms that are underwater
that add space to the house. You may think that this house would not be
environmentally friendly because of the huge structure; however, by using
all recycled materials like aluminum, and compacted wheat this is possible.
I hope my house truly shows how the houses of tomorrow will look and be
powered and help to save the earth! |
