I am building a green house because
I feel I should help the environment more than I am right now. So, if
I build a green house, I could help the environment in my area where I’m
at and hopefully convince other people to build one too.
What makes my house a green house is partly the way I save power. I am
using solar panels and am using radiant heat floors and walls. I have
windows facing to the south so I don’t use as much energy trying
to heat my house. I am using water that hits my roof by catching, filtering,
and using it to drink or water plants. I also have a water tank to store
it in.
My house is located in a pretty sunny area so my windows are
going to be facing south to use the sun's energy to heat my house. I have
solar panels on my roof to get energy. I’m using recycled metal,
wood, straw walls, and aluminum cans for inside walls. My house is pretty
big; but to help heat and cool it, I’m going to be using radiant
walls and floors. My house is going to be pretty much a one of a kind
house, so its going to look really cool inside and out.
