My message is about playing, watching, and enjoying sports. Sports can do a lot for you; it is a gateway to education. You can get a sports scholarship to a major college or university, which gives you a great learning experience as well as an enjoyable sports experience. Sports also teach you teamwork and sportsmanship. If you lose, you congratulate the other team. Also in sports, or in life, you have to work together to solve a problem or issue. At the same time, sports teach you competitiveness. You always want to be a champion and are upset if you get defeated. Sports, as well, teaches you discipline for life. If you want to play sports in high school or college you have to get good grades and stay out of trouble. Talking back to your coaches will get you kicked off team, or you have to run or work really hard to show you have respect for them. And that’s why I think sports is good to be involved in high school, college, and even when you’re an adult.
