I studied the mouth, teeth, and esophagus which is part of the Digestive System. Your teeth take up 1\3 of your mouth. Your mouth has primary, canine, and molar teeth. Around age 15 and 16, there are 28% permanent teeth. At 17-21 years old, wisdom teeth are pulled out. The mouth begins the process of the Digestive System. It breaks down food with teeth and saliva glands. The tongue pushes the chewed up food into the esophagus. In the esophagus, the muscular walls force the bolus down by closing behind it. In conclusion, the mouth and the esophagus are pretty important because without them, the Digestive System couldn't work.
