One of the 5 senses is the sense of taste. It is located in the mouth on the tongue. The tongue is flexible and has a smooth underside. It has bumps called papillae which are our taste buds. They help us taste bitter, sweet, sour, and salty flavors. I learned that our tongue is so important for talking and eating.
